The Arkon's are proper directional.
Arkon or Fuel (don’t let the price difference be a factor, this is purely style. )

Probably should have included a pic of said truck in reference. The fender flares are necessary unfortunately (hense the massive offset wheels)

That’s three running Paseos right there

I could put a paseo in the bed and carry it around. 2 paseos if you stack them ontop of each other. Actually all 3 if you stack stem or stack 2 and tow one for kicks

The Arkons look pretty clean on their own, but that might actually be a downside.
The Fuels with the beadlock-looking elements on the rim fit the aesthetic of the truck better. They parallel the exposed fasteners on the fender flares and have a similar chrome/black ratio as the truck itself. They’ve got my vote for sure.

I’m guessing the truck could TOW three running Paseos, regardless of which wheel & tire package is selected.

Not the biggest fan of either wheel but fake bead lock look is the worst. Which wheel is strongest? I’m too lazy to research...

A 1996 models weighs a shade over 1-ton, so yes. I’m sure it could tow that many.
Though probably not with those wheels...

Obviously this needs to be tested out both before and after the wheels are installed. Have 3 Paseos?

Just the one.

The exposed fasteners on the fenders and the Fuels may have been the deciding point. That was a good one.

She's a street queen/Lowe's runs/ off road 2 times a year so strength is low on the priority scale.

Why 20s?
#Brodozerconfirmed
![]() 07/29/2019 at 08:24 |

18s are hard to come by in the truck wheel scene - at least super limited in styles. Admitted she's a baby brodozer yes, but has made at least 30 trips to Lowe's with me alone so is being used as truck.

Those wheels are too wide & probably gonna rub badly when you turn, due to sticking out too far.
You’ll have a much, much better time with the same tires, a narrower wheel & offset closer to zero.

Why not get some nice 16s?
Sorry, I just can’t wrap my head around ruining any semblance of ride and off road ability to have wheels that look too big for the truck.
If it’s really what you want, more power to you, maybe there’s a good reason I’m not seeing that you can enlighten me.

That website should be banned.

Why's that?
![]() 07/29/2019 at 11:22 |

Its on 16s with 31s now and they look tiny. On 35s it'll still have plenty off road need for what I'll be doing. It's too damn big of a truck for anything like rock crawling. It's effectively a train on the highway.

I know looks are subjective, but that website has the greatest selection of nastiest wheel designs known to men. I saw a tshirt design the other day - lifted heavy duty Ford, with a caption “designed by testosterone and beer” or something along those lines. 99% of the wheels on that website should come with that image.

Then why not go to 35s on some 16" rims?
For me 35s on 16" wheels are the perfect fit for these trucks, 20" wheels look doofy and end up killing any semblance of ride they have.
Not trying to hate on your decision, its your truck, you do you, I just find oversize wheels to be the “stance crowd” of the truck world.

Oh totally agree. 95% of the wheels are atrocious displays of everything wrong with brotruck culture.
